"I purchased the Daily Deal as a gift but my name appears on the voucher; is this okay?"
No problem, just write on the voucher that this is a gift for: (fill in person's name) and we will make the necessary changes.
"Where do we meet you for our session?"
For each location listed in the "About Locations," we have included a GoogleMap to get you there. A few days prior to your session, your photographer (Courtney, Laurie or Noah) will contact you by phone to introduce themselves and talk about your session. Based what you will be doing, a meeting point will be determined at your chosen location.
"How do we reach our photographer if we need to on the day of the session?"
For exactly this reason, your photographer will provide their cell number when they call you. Because this their personal number, please only call it on the day of your session. Otherwise, give the office a call at 612.379.1006.
"What happens if I need to cancel or change my appointment?"
You have a couple options:
- After booking your session online or over the phone, you will receive an email that contains a link that will allow you to cancel. When you are ready to schedule, just revisit our online calendar.
- Pick up the phone and give us a call! If you'd like to also reschedule right away, we will have you do so online.
- Please note; we require a 24 hour notice of cancellation.
"What if the weather is terrible for our outdoor session?"
If the forecast for your outdoor session looks to be very poor the day before, we'll give you a call by 5PM to discuss rescheduling. Most often, the forecast is iffy. In this case, your photographer will call you the day of to talk about what you'd like to do.
If when you get to the outdoor location, and the weather is not cooperating during your session time, unfortunately, we'll have to reschedule. We will do our very best to make that convenient and easy for you. We appreciate you understanding that we cannot control the weather. If your portrait needs cannot be delayed, we suggest you book an in-studio session.
"Following our session, when can we schedule the review session?"
After your session, you can immediately schedule your review session. BUT, please allow one full week following your portrait session.
"When will my order be ready?"
Your finished portraits will be ready for pick up or home delivery in four weeks or less. We over two rush service options as well; 3 day and 7 day.
What is the difference between a "web-ready" and "print-ready" digital file?
A print-ready file, also known as a high resolution file, is a very large digital file that is suitable for printing to almost any size. The web-ready files, also known as low resolution files, are suitable for electronic and computer use, but not for printing. With these, we include a small logo on the bottom of each image.
"Can I add to my order at a later time?"
Absolutely. It is very important to note that we only archive images that were originally ordered. We remove un-ordered portraits from our system and back-up.
